Product - Elations®

Problem
Elations®, a recent brand launch of The Sunny Delight Beverage Co., is a ready-to-drink nutraceutical beverage aimed at both relieving joint pain and boosting consumer health. With a firm grip on Elations®' target audience, the "active lifestyle" and "baby boomer" markets that feature individuals at a higher risk of suffering join paint, the company was looking for a marketing system that would educate consumers about the new drink that is both healthy and tastes great, ultimately resulting in driving trial. First Flavor's Peel ‘n Taste® marketing system was the answer.

Solution
In November 2007, First Flavor and Sunny Delight teamed with International Direct Response, a firm specialiElationPouchzing in direct mail merchandise sampling through catalog order fulfillment, to design promotional inserts, complete with product information and an Elations® Raspberry White Grape flavor strip. Each insert contained a coupon and was sent out in Runner's World and Healthy Living catalog fulfillment that targeted both the "active lifestyle" and 45-50 age range demographics.
