Client - Old Orchard 
Product - Healthy Balance Fruit Juices

Problem
Old Orchard, specifically wanting to market its "Healthy Balance" line of reduced-sugar juices to consumers who need to monitor their sugar intake, sponsored Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) events throughout the country in 2007. Old Orchard wanted to show consumers that their low sugar, artificially sweetened juice tasted great. Given the opportunity, the company was faced with the challenge to create awareness and drive trial for the "Healthy Balance" brand via event marketing, without incurring the costs and logistical obstacles of traditional product sampling. With the discovery of First Flavor's Peel ‘n Taste® marketing system, Old Orchard knew it had found the perfect solution.

Solution
Old Orchard worked with First Flavor to replicate the Apple Cranberry and Grape "Healthy Balance" juice flavors using Peel ‘n Taste® technology, aiming to present the flavor strips at sponsored JDRF races and other events nationwide. Vertis Communications, a First Flavor strategic partner, printed and affixed the Peel ‘n Taste® strips to coupons that were distributed during the event marketing opportunities.
