Well, now you can literally have your cake and eat it, too," said Mary McClain, American Greeting's creative director of new product concepts, according to the company's June 28, 2010 press release.
Always looking for exciting and innovative ways to help consumers connect, American Greetings sought to bring the actual taste of celebrations to the card aisle.
Enter: TastiesTM
TastiesTM is an exciting new line from the greeting card company and the first to include taste as a way of enhancing the thoughtful gesture. The cards feature mouth-watering images of a cupcake, a sprinkle-covered donut, chocolate and even a refreshing margarita on the front, with a delectable Peel ‘n Taste® flavor strip safely sealed inside.
