President, Market Channels, Inc.

Dr. Martin Lautman is the President of Marketing Channels, Inc., a company which specializes in providing strategic marketing consulting and research services by highly experienced senior professionals to both large and small companies.

Dr. Lautman is the former Chairman and CEO of GfK Custom Research North America (headquarters in Nuremburg, Germany), the fourth largest marketing consulting and research company in the world, with offices in over 60 countries.

Prior to GfK, Dr. Lautman was the Senior Managing Director of ARBOR, Media, PA, where over a 20+ year span he led more than 500 major research and strategy projects for numerous multi-national clients including ATT, Domino's, The Henkel Dial Corporation, Kraft, McDonald's, Bristol-Myers, Campbell Soup, Marriott, AT&T, Kraft, General Motors, P&G, Gillette, Brown-Forman, Avon and Merck. While directing ARBOR, Dr. Lautman also served as the President of Numex Corporation, a public company which marketed health care products through infomercials and owned and operated a multi-store women's apparel retail chain based in Florida. 

Prior to working at ARBOR, Dr. Lautman built mathematical simulation models for the Department of Defense. 

Dr. Lautman also helped found and is currently a Director of Stonemor (NASDAQ: STON), a master limited partnership (MLP) and one of the largest owners of cemeteries and funeral homes in the U.S.  He also serves as a Venture Partner and advisor for two early stage venture firms, the Eastern Technologies Fund and MentorTech, based at the University of Pennsylvania.

His board positions include A. Duie Pyle, a regional trucking company, The Faulkner Organization, a major car dealer, and the University of Pennsylvania Hillel, where he is President of the Board of Overseers. 

Dr. Lautman received his Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Brooklyn College and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Mathematical Psychology (Behavioral Economics) with concentrations in Statistics and Computer Science from The Pennsylvania State University.
